I dont know about the rest of you…but I prefer to be a Rhino, not a cow. Living life free and fully beats pretending to live because one does not knowing what really living is. We are but mere objects made out of matter and energy currently "living" on a planet made out of more or less the exact same material, created in a sheer zillion to one shot, making an environment in which life as we know it could form. There is no "greater force", no divinity controlling everything and nothing at once, and everything can or will be explained by science.... Thus there is neither a purpose, or a meaning with life . One might argue that simply living and expiricing as we go along is enough, but in truth that is not an actual purpose. Neither would enquires about who we are, what we are heading and what if... But it is in the human nature to ask these questions, and as written by the author of this blog, some might give up the idea, where others might persist in search of an answer. Personally I don't think I would hesitate to "risk" all that I've created, and loosing what I love in search of a definitive truth, for to me, living comfortable in ignorance is hardly living at all. All you do is create a "drug" for your mind in order to live through your daily routines If all I have created, all I have done, only is in a virtual form, a thought or never really happened at all, then what is the point of living at all? If you do not think, then what are you? A mindless object wandering about with no real goal nor purpose? Free your mind....and think!
